- Dated Nov. 12, 1771. Stephen Buxton's sworn, signed statement that in July 1768, Casar was convicted of threatening Capt. Edward Hurcum and Samuel Taylor had to pay his fine and stand for his good behavior. Also, Casar promised to repay Taylor or he would be willing to be resold.
