Transcription:Mr. Joseph Parker -- The Negro Girl named Violet you sold as a Slave to Samuel Bradstreet deceased will Sue Mark How of Ipswich who now owns her for her liberty and derives his Title from Bradstreet and he from you. At July court next to be holden at Salem in and for the County of Essex where that point will be tried whether she is a Slave or not and whether you had a right to sell her or not and you are notified of this that if you thin proper you may there bring and offer to the Court on said Trial Evidence that she is a Slave Yrs ____ June 9 1766
